A Busy weekend for 6 KAAC Teams
North of England Road Relays at Stanley Park, Blackpool on Saturday 1st October 2005 A fine 5th Place for Rebecca Robinson on the opening leg of Northern women's road relays, handing over to Helen Matthews (who says this the highest and scariest place she has ever set off in this race), she led home a bit of a depleted Kendal ladies team. But stalwarts Carolyn Kevan and Marion Smith performed well. ( Rebecca is running in the Ian Hodgson Fell Relay tomorrow Sunday. where Kendal AC has at least 2 teams entered - a busy weekend for the club. The men managed to complete 2 teams for the first time in living memory (we think.) with Danny Parkinson the pick of the bunch, with good runs from Steve Varney, Mark Walsh and Mark Walker and Peter Mitchell last minute stand in. New to this event Kevin Towers enjoyed his run out. Can we put out 3 teams in 2006?
