We are a small friendly Athletics Club based in the market town of Kendal in South Cumbria on the edge of the Lake District. We participate in track & field, fell, cross country and road. Athletes, joggers and walkers of all ages and ability are welcome. Have a look round our site, then come and join us for a run.
The traditional start to Cumbria’s Track and Field season resulted in a 17-medal haul for young athletes from Kendal Amateur Athletics Club on Sunday MORE >>
When the grass is at its muddiest it’s time to hit the parks! Our members range from U11s to international athletes competing for Great Britain.
Kendal AC is one of the longest standing fell clubs in Cumbria. We are surrounded by the best running terrain in the country, with the rugged rock strewn Lake District to the west and the grassy but steep Howgills to the east.
For those who love to pound the tarmac you cannot beat the lanes of the South Lakes!
Fancy something different? Why not try a Fosbury Flop!
