KENDAL AAC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Request the Club Has reintroduced the Kendal AAC Club Championships along the following lines:

1. There will be a separate Ladies' and Men's Club Championships.

2. The Club Championship events will be two road, two fell and two cross country.

3. Four events to count one from each category (road, fell, cross country) and one other.

4. if any one does five or more best four to count.

5. Scoring will be 20 points for the first Kendal counter in each category down to one point for the

20th Kendal counter.

6. There will be no separate vets categories.

7. Those competing will have to run in the senior category of the Mid Lancs cross country races.

8.To win the Championship you must score points in 4 qualifying events �- see Peter for explanation. Ie Craig or Rebbecca cannot win with 60 points from 3 events

The events are:

Road

1. The Bendrigg 10k - Saturday 12th June 2004, 2pm nb entries taken on the day.

2. The Derwent Water 10 miles Keswick - Sunday 7th November 2004.

Fell

1. Hutton Roof- Saturday 29th May 2004, 2.30pm from Hutton Roof Village Hall near Kirkby Lonsdale. Category BM (7miles/1300ft).

2. Kentmere Horseshoe Sunday 18th July 2004. 1pm from Kentmere Village Hall.Category

The Club hopes you will support these events, please note that the first event Hutton Roof is the end of May. There will be a further Mail out in early Autumn confirming details of the later races. The Club is open to further suggestions for future Club Championships.
