Kendal Gathering Half Marathon

Bank Holiday Monday 26th August

126 finishers on a day that got progressively hotter, was an excellent performance by all. 

This was the biggest field at this race for some years which demonstrates  that road running is 

on the up again in Kendal, and thanks should go to all involved. 

The race was won by Steve Littler of North Fylde AC in a largely solo run of 72min 16secs

Spare a thought for Graham Armstrong of Wallsend Harriers who arrived 40 mins late 

and managed to get round before our marshalls went home!
