Magnificent turnout at this superb new venue for the mid lancs Cross Country many thanks to all our club members involved in hosting this event and to everyone else for turning out
Crooklands nr Kendal Mid Lancs full results now available Kendal senior men managed a magnificent turnout of 17 runners (our best for many years) the first team of 6 runners consisting of 72nd Philip Waiting 39mins 16sec, 87th Steve Varney 39mins 56secs, 93rd Richard Witt, 96th Paul Williamson, 107th Hugh Symonds and 113th John Dickenson were 4th in Division three Mens tables
Last year we only got 3 points in Division 2 and were relegated so its looking good so far. and the second team of 125th Allan Miller ,132nd John Quine, 133rd Ken Dacre, 135th Guy Woolnough, 140th Stuart Mc Gurk, 153rd Ian Swallow were 4th in Division 4
Non scorers (this time) were 162nd Mark Walker, 175th Nigel Garnet, 203rd David Whitehead, 217th Paul Percival Smith and 225th Andrew Spiby Ladies Our Ladies were third in the first division team consisting of 3rd Rebecca Robinson 25mins 17 secs, 26th Dianne Priestley 29mins 10secs and my little sister 31st Helen Matthews (ne Whitehead 30mins 6 secs first race in 5 years and shh she has never raced before as a vet 35)
non scorers were 34th Christine Handforth, 39th Marion Smith and 50th Carolyn Kevan. Lauren Butler was 27th in the under 13 girls, Amy Symonds was 6th junior lady Tom Doyle 7th under 11 boy have I missed anyone oh and thanks to everyone that marshalled etc etc Next cross country: Sefton Park Liverpool on Saturday 22nd November" I have it on good authority that you can just turn up and run and its free. |
